As a volunteering coach, your responsibilities may include teaching students to do the following:

​

• Finding and organizing study materials

• Compiling or creating study guides and giving learning assignments to students

• Making schedules and administering quizzes

• Analyzing tournament event performance and individual performance

• Participating in coach meetings and providing feedback and suggestions

​

We generally hold practices after school. You can find a thorough list of information for coaches at this link. Please contact the parent volunteer leaders if you are interested. You can look up their names on the Contact page.

If you are coaching lab events (involving chemistry), remember that Hawken requires you to undergo FLINN Lab Safety Training before you are allowed to supervise students in the lab. Please click this link for more information.
