As a coach, your responsibilities may include the following:

​

• Finding and organizing study materials

• Compiling or creating study guides and giving learning assignments to students

• Making schedules and administering quizzes

• Analyzing tournament event performance and individual performance

• Participating in coach meetings and providing feedback and suggestions

​

We generally hold practices after school. You can find a thorough list of information here. Please contact Ms. Coil Sherck at lcoil@hawken.edu or Kitty Qi at qi.chunxi@gmail.com to communicate your availability, and we will establish a convenient time for you and your students to meet, whether in person or online. Tell us about your background and any relevant experience to the event(s) you would like to coach.

If you are coaching lab events (involving chemistry), remember that Hawken requires you to undergo FLINN Lab Safety Training before you are allowed to supervise students in the lab. Please click this link for more information.
